Parent-Teacher Association Officers Take Their Oath of Office

The officers of the MITIS PTA took their oath in the presence of Mr. Soter Sunga, new Chairman of the Board of Directors, last September 14, Friday.

Mr. Sunga discussed how PTA members could achieve success and show support for the school. He said, “Let us support the projects of the school. I expect you, PTA members, to achieve our goals.”

In addition, the officers were appointed to be part of committees. Mrs. Jazon Lavilla, Mrs. Susan Barbarona, and Mrs. Emma Simba were appointed to be in the Waste Management Committee along with Mr. Richmond Calunsag, Physics teacher.

In the Social and Community Services, Mrs. Lee (Lee Yeon Soo), Mrs. Dong (Jung Myung Sook), and Mrs. Chung (Jong Im Lee) were assigned to be part of the committee with Ms. Lei Pangilinan, Student Activity Coordinator.

Mr. David Blanco, Mr. Alfredo Suansing, and Mr. Kim Seong Moon were chosen to be the members of the Safety and Security Committee in cooperation with the Student Prefect, Mr. Eugenio Rios Jr.

The PTA agreed that they will meet every first Friday of the month.
