MITIS Elects New Student Coordinating Board Members

After the introduction of the SCB Preamble last September 3, class officers from Grades 7 to 12 chose Gyuhwan "Rimmer" Dong to be the president.

Lee Jeong Il was voted vice president while Bona Mae Simba won as secretary, and Monica Felizardo caught the position of treasurer.

Oh Joon became the auditor, and Franco Luis Reboredo was chosen as the peace officer.

The SCB election, which aimed to choose apt students who can lead the MITIS student body, was slightly different than it was in previous years for two reasons. First, MITIS enfranchised officers of Grade 7-8 for SCB election. Second, Dr. Bienvenido Santos, Principal, reduced the seat for vice presidency from two to one.

Selected SCB members stated their oath at the main hall last September 10.
