MITIS Trains New Student Leaders

The officers of each class participated in the Leadership Training held at the MITIS auditorium last September 7, at 9:30 AM.

The Leadership Training had given not only knowledge but also an opportunity for the participants to become friends with one another.

Mr. Eugenio “Geno” Rios Jr. introduced the training. He compared and contrasted the roles of a manager and the leader and identified the types of leaders.

Ms. Nicole De Asis, Guidance Counsellor, and Mr. Vince Reyes facilitated with entertaining activities. In these activities, the instructors divided participants into 4 groups then asked them to choose a leader for each group. The leaders, Rimmer Dong, Jeong Il Lee, Jun Kim and Otto Kwon, who were responsible for Groups 1, 2, 3, 4, respectively, had to make sure members followed instructions from Ms. De Asis and Mr. Reyes. They received applauses from the audience after completing all duties given by the instructors.

At the end, the instructors pleased participants by giving them food and drinks. After consuming, the participants harmonized themselves by cleaning the environment.
