Grade 7 bags first place in first ever Reader’s Theater

Grade 7 beat the other grade levels with their selected story “Master Man” during the “Reader’s Theater 2014” on March 28, 2014 as part of this year’s Speak English Campaign.

The students of Grades 4 to 8 competed by reading a story of their choice. Grade 4 chose “Chicken Little,” Grade 5 “Rumplestiltskin,” Grade 6 “Mrs. Claus’s Christmas Gift,” and Grade 8 “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas.”

The panel of judges consisted of Mr. Ramon Kenneth V. Madrigal, Grade 9 and ESL English teacher; Ms Pamela Rose Llacuna, Grades 1 to 3 English teacher and Team Leader; and Ms. Armie Caldo, Kinder to Grade 3 Science teacher.

The winning class received 2 boxes of Krispy Kreme doughnuts, and each participant received a certificate for participation awarded by Ms Mae Kathryn C. Malanum, the school’s Vice Principal.

This event, hosted by Ms. Sara San Juan, was held so that students could showcase their oral reading skills.
