Empty Cage

In my empty cage, there still is song of Thee, song of love.
Thy fillst me and my empty cage, but my cage
Shall never be filled again.

In my empty cage, there still dance
Thy lovely shadow, dance of joy.
Thou dancest away my loneliness in my empty cage, but my cage
Shall never be filled again

I shall say, my empty cage was filled once, filled with love.
But without Thee, it's just a cage without bird.

I shall say, my empty cage wasn't empty, with a bird which sang love
But without Thee, it's just a cage with a voiceless bird.

In my empty cage, my bird can't be seen, singer of our true love
My bird wants to sing Thy love.
But without Thee, It can neither sing nor cry.

Sometimes, although something exists, but it doesn't.
Yonder standst Thee, but Thou art not with me.

In my empty cage, there is my bird, in solitude.
But there never is a bird which sings our love.
My cage is not empty, but without Thee, It's just an empty cage.
